Daniel Delaney, one of the men who were arrested for attempting to murd r a juryman in the Hynes case, deposed that Moiloy was deeply in* volved in all plots with which the Invincibles were connected, and also the plots to murder " Buckshot" Forster, the twelve jurymen, Judge Lawson, Anderson and the Crown Solicitor, who were concerned in the trial of Francis Hynes. A powerful company is being formed here with a capital of L 1,000,000,, 000,000, for the purpose of extending the New Zealand frozen meat trade. The promoters of the Company offer producers improved terms in the sale of meat, and better facilities for placing the cargoes on the market. An attempt has been made to shoot a returned Australian named Halloran for buying a farm from which the tenants had been evicted at Teaple, County Clare. Mr D. Kilbnde member for Kerry South, who was arrested for a charge against the Crimes Act by inciting the peasantry, has been convicted and sentenced to a term of three months' imprisonment. The counsel for the accused intimated that the verdict would be appealed against. The San Francisco yachtsmen are arranging for an international yacht race, with a first prize of £2000. Two thousand bales of wool have been recovered from tie wreck of the ship Sir Walter Baleigh. It is expected that further salvage will be made. Rome, February 9. Serious riots have taken place in this city, and many casaulties occurred. Upward of seventy arrests were made. Paris, February 9, It is stated that M. de Lessens' attempt to float the new Panama Canal Company has failed. Sofia, February 9. M. Stabuloff , the Premier, has caused the arrest of 60 followers of M. Zankoff, . who have sighed an address favouring a revolt in Bulgaria. Berlin, February 9. Prince' Bismarck proposes that a conference of the Powers possessing interests in Samoa should be held on the basis of establishing the independence of the Group with equality of rights and treaty powers. Mr T. F. Bayard, Secretary of State for the United States, urges that a truce be proclaimed in the Group, pending a decision being arrived. at by the Conference. Tne prosecution of the Ereuz Zeitung, inrtituted by Prince Bismarck for comments on the Geffchen indictment, has boen abandoned. Paeis, February 9. M. de Freycinet, Minister of War, has severely censured the colonel of the 19th regiment who publicly denouncod Germany as an uncivilised country, because the frontier authorities refused to allow a French army surgeon to cross into Germany to visit his dying mother. Zanzibah, February 9. The German missionaries who were captured by the Arabs have been released, on payment of heavy ransoms. Kandahar, February ». The Yiedomestic asserts that the Ameer of Afghanistan has massed 20,000 troops on the Bussian frontier, and lutends pursuing the rebel Ishak Khan. The Emir of Bokhara has refused to co-operate with Bussia in preventing the advance of the Ameer, and has warned England they had better restrain the Ameer. Ottawa, February 9. It is stated that Sir J. McDonald will shortly resign the Premiership; also, that Sir Charles Tupper will ask the Conservative members that the question of annexation to the States be shortly referred to the electors. Vienna, February 9. An official agency denies the statement of Figaro, and publishes the letters left by Prince Budolph and a lady to the Duke of Braganza and the Baroness Yeisera, the girls' mother. Prince Budolph's doctors say that his death was inevitable, The Baroness Yeisera, in a letter...^ 0 her mother, states that her love tot the Prince was so great that she resolved to die with him. '' The suicide of Prince Budolph with the Baroness Yeisera is confinfied.
