Wkumxgtox, Fe" ruary C. The beet' yarded for the sale to-day was vi! good quality. Tho smaller bul'ocks raade the best price in proportion to weight. The rates ruled on a par with those of last week. No prime wethers came forward. Pigs were in limited numbers. The small ones sold fairly well, but the larg* sort were at lower rates. We quote beef at 12/- and 13- the lOOlbs; wether muttou, l-^-d, and ewes LVd per Ib. Cattle— Bullocks, Lo 2/6 to L 5 10/--tLe averages were L 5 7/- and L 5 5/. Sheep — Light wethers, 9/- to 9/6 ; ewes, 7/1 1 to 8/9 ; lambs, 6/4 to 7/-. Pigs— Breeding sows, 31/- to 38/- ; small porkers, 13/7 ; small pigs, 7/-.
