Brennan, who was secretary of the Land League; M. J. Boyton and Patrick J. Sheridan, who were among the organisers 'of the Land League ; and John Wateh, organiser of the Invinoihie conspiracy in Ireland. The witness further deposed that Patrick Egan, treasurer of the Land League, had refused to complete the audit of the League's aocounts, and had admitted paying the expenses of Dutch Officers to enable them to proceed to Beohuanaland, and assist the Boers, who were invading what is now British Beohuanaland./ Major Leoaron also swjire that Parnell had advocated the amalgamation of the Land League and Clan-na-Gael organisation.
