Education Board

Appointments. — The Board went into committee to consider appointments, and on resuming the following report was adopted: — From Miss Stewart, accepting the post of second assistant at Feilding. Resolved. That Miss Mewart beai-ii"i««ted.~ From the Birmingham Comsiiuoe, stating that they preferred a female teacher. Resolved, That the appointment be -offered to Miss Roache, of Feilding. — From Mr EL J. McClure, applying for appointment to the Birmingham school. Held over. — From the Mongaoni Committee, re resignation of teacher. — From Mr James McDonald, resigning. Resolved, That the resignation be accepted with regret, and the usual testimonial be given. Resolved, That application be invited for the vacancy, and that the Executive take steps to appoint a teacher for the present.
