Bulls, January 26.
We had a very successful sale at Sanson yesterday, good attendance, good bidding, and good prices. Cattle, low.** they -are, moved off better, and sheep -wem in greater demand than ever, and we are glad we shall be able to meet that demand at our sheep fair at Bulls on the 1 2th of February, for which sale we have already over 16,000 good lines of sheep entered- • notably about 6,000 lambs, ohiefly woolly— for which there was such spirited bidding yesterday. We quote as follows : —
Cattle. -Two- year steers, £2 2/« to j £2 11/- ; yearling steers, £1 2/- ; yearlings, mixed, 17/6; cows, 30/- to £2 12/?. ... -.-.: '.: ■• Sheep.— Fat mixed sheep, 7/8; fat ewes, 7/6 to 7/7; forward .wether*, 9/3 ; 2-tooth ewes, 8/2. t0 9/- > for-, ward ewes, 5/10 to 6/8 ; -woolly lambs,; 6/- to 8/1. ...... ■-. .■■•• ■■■■*■'■ '
