FREEMAN R. JACKSON & CO.'S STOCK REPORT.
We have no improvement in the price or demand for our cattle since our last. At Waverley we sold nearly all that came forward at current rates, and at Feilding we disposed of the bulk of the entry. Sheep are keenly competed for at all the yards. We sold a good number at Feilding and Wangauui, and about 600 at Waverley. Pigs at the St Hill Street yards met a good market, but we had an exceptionally good class in, and well suited for the trade. Horses, ar«, as usual dull of sale, and poultry are at lower values.
