Wellington, January 16. Stock all round was entered in short supply. Of pigs and lambs there were virtually none. The attendance was small. The bullocks were of light weight and medium quality, and made a slight advance upon late rates. Beef made 13/- to 13/6 the lOOlbs* an I mutton from l£d up to 2d per lb. Cattle— Best bullocks, £5 7/6 to £5 1 0/- averaging £5 8/6. Sheep— Best wethers, 11/- ; others* 10/ ; ewes and wethers, 9/3 to 9/10 j ewes, 9/- ; a few lambs, 6/9 to 7s. .
