Mr G. V. Shannon wants men to save 150 acres of cocksfoot grass seed. We refer our clients to an important notice which appears over leader to-day. Entries for Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co.'s sale at Palmerston on the 17th inst. are published to-day. A piece of land containing 1000 acres is advertised for sale to-d ly on easy terms as per advertisement. Mr John Curran invites tenders for ererting three cottages on the Valley Road. Tenders to close on the 24th instant, Tenders are invited by Mr C. Bray, on behalf of the Wanganui Harbor Board, for certain public works, for particulars see advertisement. The poimdkeeper notifies that a bay gelding, at present impounded at the Feilding pound, will be sold on the 17th instant unless previously claimed and expenses paid.
