F.E.C. Handicap — Kuapehu, Eclat, Prudence, Paradox, Strenuous, Ahua, Petroleum, The Spy, Sincerity, Camomile, "Waiter, Germaine, Peter, The Laird, Expelled. Stewards' Stakes — Buapehn, Eclat, Prudence, Paradox, Strenuous, Ahua, Pandora, Petroleum, The Spy, Sincerity, Camomile, The Laird, Waiter, Expelled, Armourer. Flying Handicap — Eclat, Prudence, Paradox, Stremious, Pandora, Vixen, Camomile, Bums, Waiter, Peter, The Laird, Expelled. Auckland, December 19. A lot of useful work was done at Ellerslie this morning. Lochiel is now favorite for the Cup at 2to 1. Manton is quoted at H to 1, Hilda at 4 to 1, and Nelson at 5 to 1. Major George accepted to-day 500 to 75 abo\it Nelson's chance in the Cup.
