(PEH UNITED PRKSS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, December 17. The old-established Auckland firm of E. and A. Isaacs, merchants, filed a petition in bankruptcy to-day. The inquest on the remains of Kate Kennedy, who was shot on Friday- uig-ht, was held to-day. The jury returned a verdict " tbat the deceased died from a gunshot wound inflicted by Michael McDermott."
