STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.
Bulls, November 30. Our sale at Feilding yesterday was well attended, and good classes of stock were yarded, and the yards were well filled. The prices of cattle were no better than last quotations, but we were able to quit a good many, only few being turned out of the yards unsold. Sheep maintained their price, and found ready sale, all being sold excepting a small pen of very fine fat ewes passed in at 12/- We quote : — Cattle.— Fat cows, SA; 2 to 2£-yr steers, J2 7/6 ; 18-mo to 2-yr steers, 39/- ; vear steers, 22/- to 23/-; 18-mo steers, 27/-; milkers, SS. 6/6 to SA; fat bullocks, J6 ; 2to 2£-yr heifers, 29/- to S3, 2/6. Sheep.— Fat shorn ewes, 7/7 to 7/10 ; shorn hoggets, 7/6 ; shorn ewes with lambs, 8/3 ; fat sheep in wool, 12/3 ; fat 2tooth wethers in wool, 11/2 ; hoggets in wool (small), 7/11. Horses were not in demand. Several were offered, but only one was sold.
