Mysterious Murders in London
By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright LPSE UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, November 21. The last victim of the attempted murder is still living, her wounds not being so serious as at first supposed. She has made a statement to the effect that she was drinking in the evening with some men whom she met, and subsequently one of them accompanied her to her lodgings. The fellow suddenly turned on and attacked her, hut she struggled violently and screamed, and the murderer becoming alarmed, desisted. He succeeded in making his escape good, though pursued for three hundred yards. The woman has furnished an accurate description of her assailant and his arrest is expected hourly. He is not believed to have any oonuection with the previous murders. November 22. A man was arrested in Whitechspel early to-day, after a furious resistancewho is suspected to be identical with the assassin who attempted the life of a woman on Tuesday.
