Mr Falconer Larkworthy has retired from his position of Managing Director of the Bank of New Zealand, on a pension. He still retains the position of Managing Director of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company.

It is expected that the new capital of the Bank of New Zealand will be Bubscribed nearly three-fold.

It is rumoured that important changes are imminent in the London Board of the Bank of New Zealand.
