At a meeting of stock owners, it was resolved that it is desirable, on condition that satisfacory arrangements are made by the New Zealand Government for enforcing quarantine against tbe ' Australian Colonies on the mainland, that the present prohibitory quarantine | be considerably relaxed on cattle im* ported from New Zealand.
