Terrible Accident

*# A YOUNG MAN DASHED TO DEATH. (PER UNITED PRKBS ASSOCIATION.) Ashbubton, September 26 Samuel Kennedy, aged 19 was fixing the belt on to a grindstone at Wakanui Mill yesterday, when his arm got entangled in the belt and he was drawn round the shaft, sustaining terrible injuries. When the mill stopped it was found that the arm which got entangled in the belt was torn completely away from tke body at the shoulder. His skull was fractured and his head fearfully gashed, through being dashed against the beams as he was whirled round. He never recovered consciousness, aud died about an hour after the accident.
