THE TROUBLE AT ZANZIBAP. MORE MURDER AT HOME. Received September 25, 12 30 p.m. New Yobk. September 24. The captain of a whaler reports that the ship Confederation, from New York to Australia, with 58 persons on board, foundered in the Pacific. After 40 days' privations m the boats the survivors, to the number of 16 only, including two women, landed on the island of Ojee, 8 of whom afterwards lost their lives when trying to intercept a passing vessel. Zanzibar, September 33. A general rising against Europeans is feared in this district. A German force landed at Bagamoyo, on the coast to the south of this place, and killed 150 rebels. London, September 24. A woman has been murdered at Birthley, in Durhamshire, whose body was mutilated in the same way as the Whitechapel victims.
