A boy named Kelly was struck by lightning in yesterday's storm at Leich* hardt, a suburb of Sydney, and killed instantly. September 24: A committee, which has undertaken to mediate between the masters and miners, has drawn up a report which it is hoped will proye acceptable to both parties. Melbourne, September 24. Severe thunderstorms have been experienced in Victoria and Tasmania. On Saturday a woman named Hawkins wa9 struck by lightning and killed near Launceston, and at Chiletren a man named Drummy met with a silmilar fate.
