— _ — -« ■ A iiEETiNG of the above Committee was held on Thursday night. There was a good attendance of members. The Chairman, Mr J. H. Stevens, showed that the Library was in a good financial position. It was resolved that as the revenue now exceeded the expenditure, all funds collected from new subscribers be at once invested in ! books, and Messrs Hosking and W. | G. Fowles were appointed to make the selection for this month. Arrangements were made with the Librarian to open the library on each , Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at the usual hours, and erery evening from 6to 8 o'clock. It was decided not to consider any alteration in the constitution of the library until after the closing of the financial year.
