The. Manchester Rifles paraded for inspection last night, Lieuts. Pleas* ants and Kirton in command. Sergt.Major McMillan drilled the men, who showed signs of improvement. The corps will parade next Friday at the usual hour and place, and on Friday, the 19th of October, in the afternoon, at the butts, for target practice to qualify for capitation. As the firing will commence at 4 o'clock sharp, the men are requested to be on the ground at half past 3 o'clock.
