FACTS ABE FACTS. • TO THE EDITOB. a «IB,— Will you kindly insert these few n^ lines in voar widely circulated paper or the hrm-tit of whoever it may concern have a ,'ehjld : "who' has "been afflicted vrith ari'obstiriate skin disease ot a most itching- ndture' for more than seven years. "When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small r t eddish spots appeared in the taee about -the size ef a pin's head. Of course, 1 .a medical man was applied to, but it .steadily increased, until ( face and head were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, -oinls 4na all fleshy ' parts. Medical skill appeared to be of n« use, but often made him worse. • In: despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community; On the 17th of September ast the child was shown to Dr Spbeb, now residing in Wellington. On looking at him'fbr a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days' tteattnenti sfd'all strips of healthy skin Became visible; in less than a month #be akin wasi clean ; two months a wonderful improvement on the- body. After four months' treatment there only Temains< a few marks on his legs and ■wrists;: The child , is still under l)r Speeb^s care, as he declares it will take some time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not be forgotten to add; that the medicines have, not had the le^st unpleasant effect' on the internal •organs; whicn always was the case in previous J treatments. 1 So I can confidently advise anyone who 1 should be so unfortunate as to require .medical aid, to .B on D f^J" --jggaftk Johnßonvillej ,23rd January, .lßßß,. : P.S,—? iwin-jWaimglT. give. «nj 'f urther information to any person who will either -call or^addreas me at JohnsonviHe.rJiDYI.' ■'■•Jfi'. r !; ;■> ■•";■• n .i::.'i I PLANTING SEASON. * ~ ' * " " I' 'J ■ Ilespectftill^ notifies that ihe i season for Planting has now commenced. . .
