The Manchester .Rifles will parade for! drill and inspection on the 14th and; 21st instant.. . .r --. Class firing will probably be held on the afternoon of the 19th of October. Master parade will be held on the same day,, when all spare arms, accoutrements $c. On issue to the corps are to be produced for inspection. The following fines have been imposed under the Volunteer Act for absence from parade by members of I the Wanganui City Rules :— Earnest Peake, 6s arid cost 3 2s; 7. Coakley, lOs and costs 2s; T. Perm, 5s and costs 2s,;' W. Dewßon, 20s and costs 2b ; J. Mprlind, absence and neglecting to if^ep arms clean, 30s and costs 2s \ jQr. Gardner, 20s and costs 2s; and W. Jones, 10s and costs 2s.
