Football Notes
(By " Off Side.") The Woodville team visits Feilding on Saturday, 15th September, to play the return match with the Feiiding team. On Saturday next the first fifteen will play a match against all comers. All those interested in football are invited to roll up and join in the game. Those players who are likely to play in the match against Woodville, are particularly requested to roll up on account of their having had no practice during the last few weeks. The English footballers arrived in Auckland yesterday, and will play a match there on Saturday. Perhaps some of our footballers are unaware that the referee has power to order any player off the ground for misbehaving himself. The following is one of the Eules and Regulations for the guidance of Umpires and Eeferees :— " ln case of a wilful breach of the rules of the game, or use of any unseemly or offensive language, the Referee shall first caution the offending player, and in case of a repetition of the offence, may order him to retire from the game, and no substitute shall be allowed to take his place." " Buchu-Paiba " — Quick, complete cure, all annoying kidney, bladder, and urinary diseases. At Chemists and Druggists. Kempthorne, Prosser, & Co., Agents, Wellington. — Advt.
