Messrs Donald Kejd and Co., report for the Week : — ; Fat Cattle :— The market was fairly supplied with 18? head, prime quality. An occasional pen brought a little higher, but the average was rather below late quotations." Bullocks sold at £6 to £10 for an. extra heavy pen ; cows, £4 10s t(i £f7s 6d (for special Shorthorn heayy .weights.) Fat sheep : — The market was barely supplied with sufficient to meet the requirements of the local butchers; only 2643 being penned, of which 30 merinos ranging 'from medium to very prime V the tost were principally crossbred evf es, useful mutton, with an odd pen of prime wethers. The sales opened at about last week's prices and remained so all through. The quality and weights taking the markets all orer, crossbred ewes 12s 6d to 16s 9d; merinos Wethers, 8s 6d to 14s 6d. Pigs :— U9 penned, mostly all -porkers And . Kaconers.
