.*« Bulls, August 31. Our Sales- at./Marton and Feilding this; week yeere. well attended. The entries at- the former were larger than at .the latter; and at both sales the bidding was brisk, more particularly for the hoggets at Marton, a pen of good hoggets bringing 10s 2d. £he bidding for cattle at Feilding was a g-rpfllt deal brisker, and we quitted several pens at prices more satisfactory to vendors/ There is still a good deniandfor all classes of sheep, and we jfeel sure vendors may look for more satisfactory rates. We quote as follows :—. Cattle.— Feilding r fat cows* £3 10s ; fat bullocks, £5 8s 6d ; 2£-year steers, £3 9s; 2-year 'steers, £2 5s ; mixed young cattle, (chiefly heifers), 255,- .... •-.'.' Sheep.r-^Martqn : far wethers, 10s 5d to. 1 2s ' 3d ; 2-and-4-tooth wethers, 108- 9d ; mixed young sheep, lis ; woolly hoggets, 98 6d to 9s id.- Feilding: store wethers, lis 6d; fat, ewes, 7s 7dj store ewes, 6s 9d. ■,'■■■-'■'
