TO THE EDITORJ]> t — \\A y6u kindly insert these few 0 lihos in ; . our widely circulated paper or tli.- In-n.-filof whoever it 'may coticenr !>:i\t' a c-liild who has been afflicted witii an obstinate skin diseiise of a most iiel.in^ tui i ure for more than seven years. When" .s^x weeks old. or theiealuuts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, ah. .ut the size ef a< pin's head. Of vnurse. a medical man was applied to. biit it sU-a..!ily increased until fare and ijt'.xl were one dark b'row'ii crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back. Joints and all flashy parts. Medical skill' appeared to be bf n» use, but often iuade him worse. In despair I looked •jlioii the doctors as useless heings of the fo«n'iuiinity. On the 17th of September ast the child was shown to Dr Spkee, now residing in Wellington. On looking at hiui for a minute or two he struck at the root ot the disease at once, as a man of great skill' caii do. After the first five days" treatment, small strips of healthy skin became visible; in less than a month the skin was clean ; two months a wonderful improvement on the body. -After four months' treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr Speeb's care, as he declares it will take some time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not be forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the least unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case in previous treatmefats. So I can confidently advise inyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to call on Dr Spebb for advice.— lam, &c. A. A^DERSON. Jobn-Onvili^ 2§rd Jmnuey.tt&&B.
