Railway Returns
The following are the traffic returns of the Wanganui section for the four weeks ending 21st July, 1888, and for the corresponding period 1887 : —
In July 1887, 1460 tons of timber were carried, and in 1888 only 960 tons; in 1887: 16445 passengers, and in 1888 only 14226, which accounts for the deficiency.
