WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to noon of MONDAY, 27th August, 1888, for the supply and delivery of Native Timber, for Wanganui Section. Specifications to. be seen and forms of Tender obtained at the Railway Store Office, Eastown, and Railway Station Master's^Offices, Wanganui, :Marton, Halconibe, Feilding, and Palmerston North. Tenders to be addressed to the General Manager of New Zealand Railways, Wellington, and to be marked outside "Tender for Native Timber. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. B.A., Assistant Master in the Feilding State School, will shortly open a Night School for lads and young men. Terms — Sixpence ' a night, for two or three nights a week, as arranged. Subjects : Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic ; other subject^ (i.e. Geography, Shorthand, Drawing, Science, Latin, French, Mathematics, &c.) if required.
