Imve a child who has been afflicted •with an obsimnte skin disease of a most idling nature for more than seven years. "When six weeks old, or <li*reabcuts, ■small reddish spots appeared in th*> race, tlte size ef a pin's head. Of course, a medical man was applied to, hut it steadily increased until face and liead were .one dark brown crust of seres. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, 'n ; rt<s and nil fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be of no wse, but often made him worse. In despair I looked •ipon the doctors as useless beings of the community. On the 17th of September 3nst the child was shown to Dr Spree, now residing in Wellington. On looking at him for a miante or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After tke first five days* treatment, small strips of healthy skin became visible; in less than a month the skin was clean; two months a wonderful improvement on the body. ', After four months' treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr Speer's care, as he declares it will take some time jet to entirely remove it from his System. It must a 1.39 not be forgotten to add that the meclicines have not. had theleast unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case in previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to call on Dr Spbeb for advice. — lam, &c, Jonnsonville, 23rd January, 1888---£.8 .—1 will willingly give any further information to any person who will either call or address me at Johnsonville.— Adyt. .
