A CORRECTION.

.TO THE KUITOR OF THE STAR. You will notice, sir, before this matter came up for discussion Mr Bray, the Engineer, staged in his report that the* Kiwitea stream, /■ near . Kimboltoa road, needed some more money spent on it to farther improve the protective works erected there. -This,, however, was allowed to pass, and the amount of fifteen pounds wa& granted to the Library Committee when no- money could be spared for, wbiit I;, consider a very necessary public wojekyr-I am, &c.» W.
