LPSE UNITED PHEB9 ASSOCIATION.] Gbbymouth, July 23. Of fat cattle at to-day's sale there was a short market, there being only 61 head, 29 from New Plymouth, 22 from Foxton. New Plymouth bullocks, light to medium weights, averaged £8 3s. Foxton heavy weights £10 per head all round ; local, £9 16s. Prime beef is quoted at 22s per lOOlbs Sheep were tagain in excess of the demand; some were left unsold. Crossbreds — New Plymouth, 15s 6d to 15s 8d; Foxton, 13s 6d to 1 3s 9d, at which price the balance was withdrawn. Canterbury crossbreds, 14s 6d; merinos, 9s 6d to 7s 6d; mutton, 2£d to 3d per lb.
