The Manchester Rifles will hold a capitation parade to-morrow night when Sergt.-Major Ma rnillan will drill the Company. Every man absent without leave will be fined. There will be no exceptions. The Defence Minister is insisting upon the strict observance of the Volunteer regulations with regard to minimum strength of corps, Durlast week three companies — the Thames Rifle Rangers, Caversham Rifles, and Southland Hussars - were disbanded for non-compliance with this portion of the regulations.
