Suspicous Deaths

By Electric Telegraph.— Copyrights f PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. J Sydney, July 10. A suspicions death is reported to the police as having occurred at Botany, and is now under investigation. A man named Collins died on Sunday, and the doctor who was called in expressed an opinion that death was i caused by some irritant poison. Mrs Collins first husband, a man named Andrews, died 13 months ago. His. wife married Collins a few days later. The doctors in both cases were puzzled by the symptoms, and upon comparing notes are of opinion that both deaths were attended by similarly suspicious circumstances. Andrews, the first husband, had his life insured. An inquest was commenced to-day,. but adjourned for : an analysis of the contents of the stomach. (Wanganui Herald's Correspondent.) Auckland., July n The friends of the late Mr G. MMcMillan, who was found dead from a revolver bullet at .Point Resolution ! last week, do not ac( ept the theory of suicide, and allege that the deceated was robbed and murdered. It wll be remembered that over £5 in money was found in Mr McMillan's pocket ; but it has since been ascertained, that he left the Thames four days before his death with £20 and a silver watch in his pocket. He was not known to possess a revolver, and the position in which the body was found on a narrow Jedge of of rock, with a revolver at a distance,' contradicts the idea of ; suicide, and there are other suspicious facts in opposition which it is not judicious to publish at present.
