Since the opening of the present wool series 68,000 bales hare been catalogued, of which G7.000 have beea iold. The market is hardening. At the wool aalea to-d»y 13.000 bjiles were catalogued. Scoured, faulty, good greasy, aod Sydney combines rrere 10 per cent, dearer ; other aorta from par to 6 per cant dearer. Crossbrcds are un* changed. Com petition is mush keener, and foreign buyers are opor&ting freely. The Americana ape baying New 2foaland wool of «ood quality. New Zealand 4 per ceat, inscribed stock, 98; JVew Zealand 6 per cents, 105 J. Tbo BOBoy market is firmer owing to a rise on the Continental bour» ses Tallow— Best mutton, 23s 3d; beef, 22s 6d' Sugar—German be«t, 13s 9d ; Jara, 25s 6d ; Queensland, 12s 6d. Five hundred bales of rabbit skins were sold to«day.
