The Manchester Eifles will parade for inspection to-morrow evening at the usual hour and place. The Hawera Bifle Cadets have been disbanded. It is said that the volunteer officers of Wellington are taking steps to show their appreciation of the promotion of Captain Hume to the rank of lieutenant-colonel, and a banquet is to given at an early date to the officer in ouestion.
