FEEEMAN E. JACKSON & CO.'S JOHKSONVILLE REPOET. Wellington, May 16. The beef yarded to-day was of medium weight and quality, the entry being larger than that of last sale. The bidding was brisk throughout, and prices showed an improvement upon late tates. The cows were haht weights ; vealers were in full supply, and sold readily. The sheep pens contained medium good quali'y with some heavy-weight wethers, which also made higher figures than recent quotations. Beef — Bullocks from L 5 10s to L 6 2s 6d, the line averaging L 5 los 8d ; other averages, L 5 15s and L 5 : cows L 3; 6s to L 3 15s, averaging L 3 18s ; veulers. 17s to 22s the 1001 bs, and cows lls 6d. Sheep — Ewes and wethers, 8-s lOd ; ewes, 6s 9d to 7s 2d ; wethers 11<* 8d to lls lid ; store wethers 6s 6d ; wether mutton, lfd per pound; ewe. a shade under l£d Pigs— Small baconers, 30s ; porkers, 14s to 18* ; stores, 9s 6d to lls ; small pigs, 2s 6d to 6s.
