IR.rr-Willyo'i kindly insert these few lines.in your widely circulated paper for the benefit of whoever it may concern, have a child who has beer, afflicted with an obstinate skin disease of a most itching nature for more than seven years. When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, about the size ef a pin's head. Of -course, a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, join! s and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be of no use, but often made him worse. In despair 1 looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the -community. On the 17th of September last the child was shown to Dr Spkbb, now residing in Wellington. On looking tit him for a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five clays' treatment, small strips of healthy skin became visible ; in less than a month the skin was clean ; two months a wonderful improvement on the body. After four months* treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and -wrists. The child is still under l)r Spbeb's care, as lie declares it will take some time jet to entirely remove it from Ms system. It must also not be forgotten to *dd that the medicines have not had the least unpleasant effect on the internal -organs, which, always was the case. m -previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to rtjall on Dr Spbbb for advice.— lam, &c, .Johnsonville, 23rd January; 1888.
