A meeting of the Feildirig Volunteer Fire Brigade was held at Captain Brays office last evening. In the unavoidable absence of the Captain. Foreman Morey was voted to the chair. The minutes of the previous meek ing were read and confirmed. q Tenders for the privileges at the Sports were received as follows :— - Joseph Smith, outer gate, £18 13s; o Wn> « 4s ' P - Cfemens, outer gate, £15. Summers and Co., refreshment booths (2), £3 10s. _ The tender of Summers and Co. fop the booths was accepted, and it was resolved that both gates be retained by the Committee.
