Other than the above there are no changes, and we quote stone flour, £8 10s; roller ditto, £8 5s to £9 10s (sacks); pollard, £S ; bran, £3 10s; wheatmeal, £8 15s ; fowls' wheat, 2s 9d to 2s 2d ; long and Danish, Is 10£ d to 2s per bushel ; oatmeal, £9 to £9 ss; straw chaff, £3; sheaf do, £4; feed barley 2s lOd; maize, 3s lOd to 3s lid; Derwent potatoes, Oamaru £2 15s, Blenheim £2 10s; onions, best £4 10s, second class £3; rye grass seed, 3s 6d to 4s ; Italian ditto, 3s 6d ; cocksfoot 3£d to 4d ; peas, 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; garden ditto, 7s ; split peas, 17s 6d per cwt ; cheese 4d to 4£d; hams and bacon best factory, 7£d; do, farmers' cure, 3d per lb ; honey, 4^d to sd; fresh butter 6d to 7d L 1 ; salt ditto, 6£d ; eggs, Is 8d per dozwa. The plentiful supply of game j&c, is interf erring with the sale of foultry, and al experience iffijuity in moving quickly; we .quote— fowls, 2s 6d, ducks 3s 6d, geese os 6d, and turkeys 7s per pair. Prices for the staple Hues of fruit Slow available, viz., apples and pears, - .are still on the lowest grades, apples from 3s, and pears 7s upward respectively ; walnuts are plentiful at 6d; quinces are now out of the market ; Island and .Sydney oranges, at 7s per .case, command but little attention; .we hope soon to see a revival in this branch of the produce business.
