Wellington, April 18. The cattle market to-day was of medium quality, prices showing improreiUHnt upon the late rate. Sheep Bold at last values. Pigs were in good demand, and sold freely Best bullocks sold at L 6 2* 6d to L 6 3s, averaging L 5 5s 5d ; oi her lines averaged L 5 und L sls 9d ; beef made J3s per lOOlbs. Sheep— Mixpd »cxc», 8s; tttore l«mbs, 4s 6d. Pig* — Porkers, 16s to 255; larger sorts and baconers, 27s 6d to 3bs ; store, 8s to 15s.
