XR, — Willyo» lindlv insert these few linos in your widely circulated paper for the benefit of whoever itmay concern. have a child who has been afflicted tith an obstinate skin disease of a most itching nature for more than seven years. When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, about the size of a pin's head. Of course, a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, joints and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be of no use, but often made him worse. In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community. On the 17th of September last the child was shown to Dr Spbeb, ■now residing in Wellington. On looking at him for a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man ■of great skill can do. After the first five days* treatment, small strips of healthy skin became visible? in less than a month the skin was clean ; two months a wpnderful improvement on the body. •After -.four months' treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr StEßE's care, as he declares it will take some time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not be forgotten to add that the medicines have not had »the least unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case in •previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to call on Dr Bm. lor Johnsonville, 23rd January, 1888. P.S.— I will willingly give any further information to any person who will either call or address me at Johnsonville.— Advt. BANK LUNCHEON ROOMS, (opposite Bank New Zealand) Wellington.
