FACTS ABE FACTS. ;TO THE EDITOR. 018, — Will you liindly insert these few vS lines in your widely circulated paper , for the. benefit of whoever it may concern. bave a child who has been afflicted witb an obstinate skin disease of a most Etching nature for more than seven years. -When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, about the size ef a pin's head. Of •course, a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, joints and all fleshy parts. Medical flkill appeared to be of no use, but often made him worse. In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community. On the 17th of September last the child was shown to Dr Spkeb, •now residing in Wellington. On looking «t him for a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days* treatment, small strips of healthy •skin became visible; in less than a month tlie skin was clean ; two months a wonderful improvement .on the body. After four months' treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr rSpEEB's care, as he declares it will take •some- time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not be forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the least unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case m previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to •call oa Dr Speeb for advice.— lam, Ac, A. ANDERSON. Johnsonville, 23rd January, 1888.
