PACTS ARE FACTS. TO THE EDITOR. SIE s — Will you kindly insert these few lines in your widely circulated paper for tne benefit of whoever it may concern. have a child who has been afflicted with an obstinate skin disease of a most, itching nature for more than seven years. When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, about the size of a pin's head. Of course, a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and bead were one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the body, chest, back, 30in«s and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be of no use, but often made him worse. In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community. On the 17th of September last the .child was shown to Dr Spkeb, now residing in Wellington. On looking at him for a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days* treatment, small strips of healthy :skin became visible % in less than a month the skin was clean ; two months a wonderful improvement on the body. After four months' treatment there only remains a few marks on his legs and wrists. The child is still under Dr Speeb's care, as he declares it will take some time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not be forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the least unplea&ant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case in previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so -unfortunate as to require medical aid, to icall on Dr Speeb fox advice.— lam, &c, A. AIvDEKSON.
