The Wellington Landed Property Guide

We have received from the publishers a copy of the Wellington Landed Property Guide for the ensuing quarter. The present, like previous issues, bears evidence of very careful compilation, and the returns of Crown Lands and private properties sold throughout the colony during the past quarter should prove of much value to those wishing to form an exact opinion of the present state of the property market. Interesting articles appear under such headings as " How to get rich," " Distraint for rent," &c. Memoes on land topics are well selected — all readable, and many of them useful and interesting information. This part of the " Guide" occupies some 40 pages, and in the balance — about 140 pages — details are given of a large number of properties in the city and provincial district of Wellington, and other parts of the colony, which the publishers have for sale. Fi o n the qv. arterly report we learn that since March last some 25,406 aores of land along the Manawatu Railway Company's line have been sold. The Guide is issued gratis, and we note that those wishing copies can have them forwarded regularly, free of charge, by sending their names and addresses to the publishers and owners, Messrs T. Kennedy Macdpnaid and Co.* Wellington,
