VISIT OF BISHOP HADFEILD. [COMMXmiOATED.] There -was a large attendance at St. John's Church on Sunday morning last, when His Lordship the Bishop of Weilington adminisiered the lit© of confirmation. Hermon drove the Bishop to Eiwitea, where he was entertained by Mr and Mrs Jacob, who asked several settlers to meet His Lordship. in the evening the usual monthly Church of England service was held in theEwitea Hall, when a large coneregatum met to hear the Bishop preach. It is worthy of mention that the Bishop, who has entered upon his fiftieth year of residence in the colony, formed a very high opinion of the land in the Kiwitea. On Tuesday the Bishop proceeded north by the express, and in the afternoon the St. John's Sunday School met for their annual treat in the Becreation Ground. [ After some hours of games and athletid sports, which both teachers and children seemed to enjoy, Mr B. Worsfold marshalled the school, and marched them to the Parsonage, where, through the kindness of many friends, a "bountiful tea was provided. At the conclusion of the tea I the Bey. A.
