FACTS ABE FAGTS. TO THE EDITOR. • — Will'yoM Lindly insert these fe* lines in r yoHr widely circulated paper for the benefitof whoever it may concern. I have a child who bas been afflicted with an obstinate skin disease of a' most itching nature for more than seven years: When six; weeks; old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in the face, -about the size cf a pin's head. Of course, a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one; dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to Jhe body, chest, back, join s and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be; of no use, but often made him worse.' In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless beings of the community. "On the 17th. of September last the child was shown to Dr Spkeb, n6w residing in Wellingten. On looking at him for a minute or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a man Of great skill can dp. After the first five days" treatment, sm ill strips of healthy skin '■ became visible ;' in less than a month' the skin was clean ; two months a wont'e'tul' improvement on the body. After four months'. treatment there only remains a few marks; en his legs and wrisis. The child is still un>ler Dr Spbeb's care, an he declares it will take some time jet toenirely remove it from his system. It inn«t nl^o not be forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the least unpleasant effect on .the infernal organs, which always was the case m previous treatments. So I can confidently advise anyone who should be so unfortunate as to require medical aid, to call on Dr Speee for advice.— lam, &c , . , . A. ANDERSON. Johnsonville, 23rd January, 18<S8. P.S.— I will willingly give any further information to any person who will either call or address me at Johnsonville.— ADVT. :.:..
