New Buildings
I The building trade promises to be .very brisk within the next few months, -and will find employment for the carpenters resident- 'in the Borough and , neigh borhood. .: Mr Macarthur is about to build a large private residence on the Makino road, a short distance beyond the Church of Eng. land.' Mr Nicholas is, already at work on : new bank premises in Fergusson street. A building is projected in Denbigh street to be used as a manufactory of somekiud. Mr Ralph Heald has just completed a commodious private residence for Mr ? Bellve in Marlborough street. The additions to Mr Haatie's Hptel are rapidly approaching com--1 pletion. MrFvFowles is putting up a cottage for Mr Patten, at Makino, I and plans are being prepared for 'several private dwelling houses. The reason' of this -agreeable change is that! business is >apidly ' improving, timber can he pnrchased at. reasonable rates, and tnere are plenty of good >tradesmento do the work. ,-_;
