The Council appointed to drraw up a retrenchment scheme for the Education Board will report in favor of leaving salaries as. at present. Boh* uses will be touched^ and uncertificated teachers are made to hear considerable reductions. There is also in reduction in the amount granted to School Committees. The total saving is £2000.
