Meteorological Eeportfor the week ended Fridaj, January 6, 1888, The following table shows the readings of the barometer and rain guage at 9.30 a.m. on the day6 mentioned, and the maximum and minimum temperature during the preceding 24 hours: —
N.B.—The rainfall for December was 2"23 inches. For the year 1887 it was 43 03 inches; for the year 1886. 43 49 inches; for the year 1885, 26 06 iuehea.; for the year 1884, 46 04 inches;; for. the year 1883, 4748 inches.
