New Zealand Stud Go's Annual Sale

(per unitkd pkkss issociatiov ) Auckland Jan nary 4. The New Zealand Stud Company held their annual sale of yearlings at Sylvia Park to-day. There was a large attendance, a goodly number of Southern buyers being jpresent. The lot offered were in fine condition, and the colt which, attracted the moat attention was that by Musket — Nelly Moore, a half brother to Lochiel, and which, was disposed of for 625 guineas to J. Kean, who it is presumed, acted on behalf of the Hon. E. Mitchelson. Every lot offered was sold, and the total realised was £4316 guineas, the highest priced yearling being a filly by Musket, purchased for 650 guineas by J. Marshall. G. GK Stead (Christchurch), W. Douglas (Napier), and S. P. Gollan (Napier) were among the buyers.
