That a Loan of £2000 be raised for the construction of the following works, viz., — For protecting the banks and improving the flow of the watev in the Makino stream £500 For repairing and re-instatmg where necessary, the following bridges, with requisite protection works, viz., — The Kiwitea Bridge, and the Bridges m North street, Derby street, Soutb street, Denbigh street, Warwick street, and Beattie street ; Also, for making a drain along Marlborough street, and widening the Culverts in the Kimbolton road, near Chamberlain's Mill, and opposite Lytton street ... £1500 Total £2000 -(2.)
